Mechanical Team

What We Do

In the mechanical team, we put the robot together. After we determine the design we'd like to use to play the game, we make prototypes to make sure that the design is feasible and accomplishes what we need it to do. We then figure out the measurements of all the parts we're going to need and we cut them down to size. In this team we teach members how to use hand tools and bigger machines to make parts. They learn what it takes to design, make, and assemble something that later accomplishes a bigger goal. Members can use these skills later in life to help them fix things such as cars.

Elevator Lift Prototyping

This project is a new type of elevator that we are trying to prototype and see if it will be better than are current elevator. The kids how are building this project are Trinity, Sean, and Skyler are the main builders.

T-shirt cannon

th T-shirt cannon is a community tie in that the robotics team is working of for sports events to get more people into robot and the  team.

Prototyping for Robot Cart

This cart will be the replacer for the current outdated cart for the robot. The  goal of this cart is to add tech that we need that are missing from the current cart to make moving the robot faster.
